**Warning: this post discusses Moxie’s bowel movements**

Not to freak anyone out but–turns out poop changes when you start eating “solid” food.  Before she had one poop a day, same consistency, same time.  We knew what to expect.  Well, with the introduction of various purees we are seeing some changes.  With these changes has come a tiny bit of diaper rash.  We are combating said diaper rash with giving Mox diaper free time.  Note the chux under her cute little midsection.  All new parents: get some of these.  They are awesome and cheap and save you a lot of clean up–especially in the early weeks of poop shooting and late night diaper changes.

The Dorsey-Lees took a trip with the Lessin family to see just how cool those Nordic folks are.  Turns out, they are pretty cool.  They had a minimalist lego set up for kids: tables and legos.  We were expecting something more Legoland-ish but the simplicity simply proved their point.  Moxie chewed on them, Noa ran from table to table playing with others, and Ari built amazing star ships and flying machines.  Oh, Tracy built a parking structure.  Also: Nordic Cool had a wood maze that Ari and Noa owned.  We wrapped up with sandwiches for lunch.  It was really fun and we really like hanging out with Lessins.

Well, I think when you do something for six months it is about time to go pro.  Yep.  Strider and I have been parents for 6 months and this baby girl is doing great!  She’s 18 lbs 8.5 oz and over 27 inches long!  No real big changes from 5 months–she still sits, eats, and laughs.  We will let you know when she starts doing algebra.
