Keen is two months old!

Keen is the big 2 months old. She is smiling, cooing, and continuing to poop like a machine. She has already had 3 colds and a stomach flu. We couldn’t be more proud.

When is sweet angel baby Keen’s favorite time to poop? About 10 seconds into a nice clean diaper. She believes her yellow mustard sharts are best placed in brand new diapers just after the last tab is placed and the changing pad put away. Makes total sense.

**Warning: this post discusses Moxie’s bowel movements**

Not to freak anyone out but–turns out poop changes when you start eating “solid” food. Before she had one poop a day, same consistency, same time. We knew what to expect. Well, with the introduction of various purees we are seeing some changes. With these changes has come a tiny bit of diaper rash. We are combating said diaper rash with giving Mox diaper free time. Note the chux under her cute little midsection. All new parents: get some of these. They are awesome and cheap and save you a lot of clean up–especially in the early weeks of poop shooting and late night diaper changes.

Thanksgiving

Moxie’s Thanksgiving went really well. We were grateful for the family and friends we got to spend time with and missed those we didn’t get to see. We spent the day with the Shaffer cousins: Ryan and Helen, the Mark-Tucker Clan: Tony, Karen, and Ruby, and the Marks: Jerry and Sue. We ate delicious food (none of which we contributed–Karen gave us a pass this year with the new baby–we appreciate it because we can barely dress ourselves these days), had wonderful conversation, and spent time with people we love.

Moxie wore her special Thanksgiving outfit we got for like 75% off at Janie and Jack. She looked super cute:

We hung out and helped out in prep for the delicious dinner. We also skyped with Hannah (studying abroad in Scotland this semester).

Dinner was, of course, really good and so was the conversation. Moxie slept for most of the meal in the ErgoBaby carrier and then hung out being cute for the rest.
