We took our first family vacation. We went to celebrate the marriage of Dan and Nora at Disney World. She also got to meet Grizzly and Melanie and, because of Hurricane Sandy, Aunt Catie and Uncle Reid. Moxie, as a newborn, did a fair amount of sleeping. Her parents, however, did not.
Moxie slept through the entire flight from DC to Orlando–save the 5 minutes of nursing and stretching mid-flight.

Moxie met and hung out with Jonathan and Melanie for the first time. She slept for most of it but was awake enough to appreciate their willingness to do the Magic Kingdom on infant time. She also really liked sleeping on Jonathan.

Dan and Nora’s wedding was really fun. We had a great time and almost forgot that Moxie was in the hotel with her first ever babysitter: Eva. It all went well and no one died. Jess was only a little scarred.

Our family doesn’t need the private nursing room in the Baby Care Center–we nurse on the go (and also in the Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, Carrousel of Progress, the Tiki Room, and Hall of Presidents)!
Note: this will be an embarrassing but useful factoid in Moxie’s future. |

| Instead of nursing and sleeping (as she did on all the other rides) Moxie took in the sights and sounds of It’s a Small World from start to finish. Her favorites included the pink haired Scandinavian kids and the belly dancing Asian-ish girls. |
