At last month’s baby brunch we went to a friend’s house and got to see a puppy. We also did a toddler activity swap. It was awesome. Moxie made out like a bandit. We contributed button snakes.

Notice moxie is the tallest. By a lot.

She got stamps as an activity. She mostly stamped herself.

Play dough! She mostly likes to make tiny pieces and then try to eat them.

Pom poms as a matching exercise? Nope. A dumping and flinging exercise.

Toddler Dance Party came with a microphone, ribbons to dance with and a CD with some serious jams.
We got a few others but no pictures yet.

Moxie is eating a more diverse diet than I did until grad school. Who knows that that means in terms of her eating habits later but it is fun to see her try new things.

She really enjoyed dipping the njera in the food. She’s a huge fan of njera–which is really half the battle.

Moxie had to have an EEG. She’s fine. Don’t anyone worry. But it was quite an adventure. She had to fall asleep at the beginning of the test at 1:30. So Strider and I woke her up at 4 and kept a fun party going all day. We went to Gymboree, walked the dogs, had lunch, ran around, all kinds of stuff. Luckily she fell asleep immediately and slept until the strobe light portion of the adventure. That part she hated. But at the end she was happy and really liked the two finger puppets the nurse gave her.
