Like father like daughter. Moxie is a HUGE fan of PB&J. She had her first one while visiting grandma and grandpa over thanksgiving. She’s had a few between. Tonight we grabbed dinner at the mall before hitting the indoor play place (livin’ last vida loca) for some shoe free fun time.
Mox got to play with Kai and Claire over Christmas. They were both patient with her. She’s such a baby.
There will be more.
After a crazy Colorado week we flew home. This is what it looked like:
We had a THREE HOUR LAYOVER in Chicago. Lucky for us there’s a Children’s Museum in the airport. Moxie rocked it.
We spent Thanksgiving with Grandma and Grandpa in Wichita. We got to do lots of fun things: the zoo, the park, lights in the Botanic Gardens–it was really fun. We are waiting to get the real photos but we have some from our iPhones.
People from Wichita will know about NuWay. People not from Wichita likely won’t. It’s an old fashioned Wichita original burger joint. The place has history with the Dorsey family–Strider’s grandparents had their first date there! Anyway, they have AMAZING homemade root beer and burgers made of loose ground steamed hamburger. You should try it. Moxie did.
Eating is an adventure. Usually REALLY messy. Here’s an example:
Holy Cow! This girl is 15 months! She’s walking more, running, talking, and has lots of signs. It is absolutely fun to hang out with this girl. She enjoys dancing in the evenings and singing along when she knows the words.
