Bibi and Babu took care of Moxie this week. They spent lots of time doing fun things. Least fun was the park.
Bibi and Babu came to town to visit. We had a great time and lots of great food. Moxie was particularly into the dates.
We went out for a nice dinner to celebrate having family in town and all the excitement of life. Food was amazing and Moxie won the crowd. The waitress offered us a Seasons 52 onsie–she was too big but that was still cool.
Ok. We are finally caught up! Here’s our girl at 14 months. She is a walker, runner, dancer, and all around fun time girl. She is trying all kinds of new foods, playing with her dogs, and getting better and better at getting around on her own. She likes to help with the babies at daycare and feed her dogs their own food (from her mouth). She is learning to throw things and blow raspberries.
Again, slightly late but still seriously cute. Moxie is a big deal in her 13th month–she loves walking, tickling people, and using more signs and words. She’s a toddler FOR SURE.
Super duper late? Yes. Super duper cute? Yes. 12 months!!
Darn it. Moxie’s boyfriend Owen and his family are skipping town. It has nothing to do with the warrants out for his arrest. Absolutely nothing. Our mama friends, and particularly the Hostess with the Mostess Alex threw a fabulous going away party. It was really fun.
You’ll notice in the last few pictures that Moxie has something stuck to her hand. Yep. Someone else’s snack cup. She stole it, reached in for a cheddar bunny, and got her fist stuck. For most of the party she had a cheddar bunny in her free hand and her other fist stuck in a cup. She didn’t mind too much though.
Also: forget I said anything about the warrants. Seriously.
(Part 2) We picked about 30 lbs of apples. crazy we know. We are making a vat of apple butter as we speak. Don’t hate.
