Moxie and Strider were dueling during dinner. They are each trying to cast spells turning the other into a worm. Neither succeeded but it was fun to watch anyway.

Takoma Mama 9 is the mother’s group I joined back in November. I just can’t say enough wonderful things about these women and their babies. Well, today we had the pleasure of celebrating the ~1st birthdays of all the babies. It was really fun. Strider and I made little onesies with fabric ties on them as party favors and helped decorate the train cars for all the babies. Super duper cute pants.
I’m going to post more photos soon but just wanted to write real quick and say we had a great day.
We went out for banjos and crab cakes. Moxie had pickles.
This week a bunch of stuff. Mystery greens, dinosaur kale, red leaf lettuce, radishes, red scallions, white ones, frisée, and strawberries. Oh yeah. And eggs. We are having scrambled eggs tonight.

Last night we got to host one of Moxie’s baby friends. While her parents saw a movie we got to play. Grandma and grandpa are in town so it was really fun. Moxie went to bed after her bath and some naked time (seen below) and Natalie got some one on four fun time. She enjoyed petting the pups, playing music on the porch with Ron and Carmen, and packing and unpacking her diaper bag. So. Cute.
Well, we joined a CSA. Yep. I’ve been wanting to but not committing for years. This year, now a family of three, we took the plunge.
Becky, Brian and Owen hosted a fabulous party. It was epic. We had a great time. Becky was kind enough to take a couple pictures of our family. Moxie also got some Owen time. She liked that part best.
Sometimes we skip the bib.
